SMAU returns to Milan on 5–6 November 2025 at Allianz MiCo, and NETF DRONE is among the selected startups meeting enterprises and public administrations on innovation. We’ll share our vision and showcase advanced drone-based surveying and inspection solutions for both open and confined environments, built on an integrated data approach for asset management.

At Booth B28 we’ll demo end-to-end workflows: Scan-to-CAD, GIS & BIM integration, 3D models and Digital Twins supporting monitoring, change detection and predictive maintenance—alongside topographic surveys and technical inspections on critical infrastructure, with defined accuracy metrics and optimized cycle times.

NETF Milano is an innovative company specialising in drone-based surveying and inspections in open and confined environments, with applications across industrial, infrastructure, environmental and energy sectors. The company employs advanced technologies for the acquisition and analysis of geospatial data, ensuring high standards of accuracy, safety and operational efficiency.

The project involves participation in SMAU – Innovation and Startups 2025, a leading event for technological innovation in Italy. NETF Milano’s objective is to strengthen its market presence, establish new partnerships and promote its technological solutions for the digitalisation and predictive maintenance of infrastructure. The trade fair is a strategic opportunity to engage with companies, public bodies and investors interested in advanced surveying technologies, asset optimisation and intelligent resource management.

NETF Milano stands out for integrating drones equipped with LiDAR, photogrammetric and thermal sensors, enabling high-precision topographic surveys essential for the planning and management of large infrastructures and industrial plants. The company uses artificial intelligence to automatically detect cracks in reinforced concrete, corrosion on metal structures and structural anomalies—significantly improving early diagnosis capabilities and the safety of civil works.

In the renewable energy sector, NETF Milano supports the design, construction and maintenance of photovoltaic and wind plants, leveraging aerial surveying technologies for terrain morphology analysis, solar irradiance calculation and assessment of anemometric conditions. The collected data enables optimisation of panel and turbine layout, improving energy efficiency and reducing construction and maintenance costs.

The company also operates in confined and complex environments—such as tanks, pipelines, tunnels and industrial infrastructure—where traditional inspections are often costly and hazardous. The use of specialised drones reduces operator risk, lowers operating costs and ensures faster, more accurate data acquisition.

During SMAU 2025, NETF Milano will present its solutions with live demos and case studies, illustrating the effectiveness of combining advanced surveys, 3D modelling and predictive analytics. The company will showcase integration of acquired data with GIS, CAD and BIM software—essential for intelligent asset management and the creation of Digital Twins, key tools for simulation and predictive maintenance.

The event will also provide an opportunity to explore new technological applications, capture emerging market needs and engage with other innovative players.
