We took part in the conference promoted by ANGI and the European Parliament, focusing on drones, digital twins, and intelligent inspections for improving efficiency and enabling the green transition of industrial plants.
On May 6th, 2025, we had the pleasure of participating as speakers at the conference “Automotive in the Green Deal: Towards Sustainable Mobility”, organized by ANGI – National Association of Young Innovators in collaboration with the Offices of the European Parliament in Italy.
The event was held in Rome, at the Europe Experience – David Sassoli venue, a highly symbolic space named after a man who passionately represented the vision of a fairer Europe, closer to its citizens and open to innovation.
During our speech, we presented the contribution that NETF DRONE brings daily to the transformation of the manufacturing industry, especially in the automotive sector, through the integrated use of industrial drones, advanced sensors, and artificial intelligence tools.
Our work focuses on the digitalization of production facilities, through technical surveys and visual and thermographic inspections, including in confined or hard-to-access environments.
Based on the collected field data, we develop 3D digital models and Digital Twins, perform thermographic and structural analyses, and produce technical documentation integrated within CAD and BIM environments, including georeferenced reports and cloud platforms.
This enables companies not only to monitor the condition of their assets and prevent critical issues, but also to plan with greater awareness revamping projects and production line re-layouts, optimizing time, space, and resources.
We shared real-world applications carried out in complex industrial environments, where the combination of precision, speed of execution, and systemic vision has led to tangible results in terms of operational resilience and competitiveness.
It was stimulating to engage with representatives of the European Parliament, including several high-profile Members of the European Parliament, and with institutional delegates from research and government bodies such as ENEA, CNR, the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and La Sapienza University of Rome.
The contributions from the business sector were equally valuable, with insights from companies active in industrial production and the energy sector, such as Renault and ENI, alongside the participation of several startups focused on developing technologies for sustainable mobility.
We thank ANGI President Gabriele Ferrieri and Carlo Corazza, Director of the European Parliament Offices in Italy, for promoting such a high-level dialogue that strengthens the connection between businesses, institutions, and innovators.
